Quote 26 2048

This is such a powerful statement and makes me wonder: Why can it be so hard to respond with a simple 'no'?  Many people struggle with this.  Often, people say yes to things they really want to say no to.  This leads to unhappiness, feeling unheard, and resentment towards others.  Learning to say a simple no is a powerful tool that not only allows you to be heard, but helps build respect from self and others.

Thought for the day:  How often do I say, "yes" when I really mean "no"?

    1. Thank you for your input Todd! Ah yes! Fear is a major driving force for all of us. Once a useful tool to keep us alive has now morphed into a hindrance that only holds us back. The amazing thing is that most times, our fears are unfounded and not based in truth. For example, I have personally found that saying ‘no’ has rarely, if ever, resulted in the outcome that I feared. The benefits of exercising my right to say ‘no’ far outweighed the perceived risk.
